Hope For Khaleel

Khaleel Thompson is a kind, talented, and amazing 18 year old kid who has brought nothing but love and hope to our lives. He has struggled with several mental illnesses and has been hospitalized several times for suicide attempts. On May 23, we got news that Khaleel was having a particularily hard night and we called 911 to do a wellness check and hopefully provide him with resources. The police checked in on him for less than 10 minutes, leaving NO resources to help. Less than 12 hours later he was in a park with an airsoft gun and the Crystal Police shot at him more than 18 times. Over the last month he has had a kidney removed, a bullet removed from his brain, and a bullet removed from his spine. It is a miracle he is alive and he has been fighting hard for his life and succeeding . Unfortunately, his insurance will not cover many more days for him to finish his recovery fully We ask you to donate what you can to now help ease the burden of any medical bills that may not be covered, helping him to find a safe living environment where he can continue healimg and continued to be monitored due to the brain injury and the trauma his loved ones , friends, and especially Khaleel  have suffered.
