Help Peace Fellowship Recover from Serious Damage
Beschermde donatie
Hi, there. My name is Josie Burns, and my family and I have been members of Peace Fellowship Church in Mansfield for as long as I can remember. I've created this fundraiser because my church is in serious need of help from our community.
For context, our church has been a vital part of the Mansfield community since the 1990s. Our pastor, Dan Dickman, has led our church community in doing amazing work. We've lent microloans to those in need to pay rent when no one else would. We've been ardent supporters of Mansfield Pride since its inception. We've tried our best to be a shining beacon of God's love and acceptance in all that we do.
Now, Peace Fellowship is small but mighty. Our building is an old Victorian house. It is beautiful and unique, but old buildings often come with unique problems. Our church is no exception.
Just after the New Year 2023, we discovered that a pipe had frozen and burst, causing serious damage from the second floor all the way to the basement. When all was said and done, the cost of repairs is $75,000.
The support we've received so far has been incredible, but we still have some funds to raise. We need your help.
Our church has always borrowed for our motto the quote from Margaret Mead "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." If you can lend us help, however small, you can help us more than you'll ever know.
