Farm Expansion & Youth Supplies

Sweetwater Farms HTX is a family-owned, urban farm located in  Houston, Texas. We are 7 minutes from the loop in the middle of a food desert. Our urban farm sits on 6 acres of land and is primarily used to teach inner city youth about agriculture through its partnership with TWEF.

1. Our urban farm is located in a food desert.
2. We are feeding families living in a food desert.
3. We offer agriculture programs for inner city youth as well as mentorship.
4. Our entrepreneurship program gives our youth access to restaurants, chefs, and creates a model for them to sell produce.


Our goal is to expand our urban  farm so we may be able to feed more families living in food desserts and teach more youth about agriculture.  With our expansion we will need the necessary farm equipment such as a small tractor and farm tools for youth and volunteers!
