Aaryn & Josh's IVF Fund

It has been a long 7 year journey to the place we are now. We decided 7 years ago that we wanted to start a family. After some time, we were curious why we did not have success like our friends around us had. Research reassured us that it, “just takes time.” Lots and lots of research took place as well as trying different diets and exercise. In 2017, we made an appointment to the Gynecologist.  From there they sent us to a specialist for further testing. That moment when the doctor sat us down and told us we had less than 1% chance of conceiving on our own was unreal. It was a quiet ride home that day.  It took time for us to grieve and process the news. A lot of time. The idea of IVF was so alien  to us because we had no idea how we could come up with that kind of money. Not to mention how invasive of a process it is. Once we had grieved, it was time to search out a new path to starting a family. We thought the path of adoption was where we need to go, so we began the paper work and lengthy check list. There was always a tug, though, that we were missing out on something. So we decided to just go see what an IVF Fertility Specialist told us. After several tests and consultations, the doctor told us, “You just need a little push.” We just knew this was the path for us.  So here we are in this place of need. Our cost for the IVF treatment is about $22,000. Each additional try is $5,000. We know in our hearts we were meant to be parents. We just need help getting there. Just the idea of asking for help has been such a struggle for us. It has felt so vulnerable... I mean, people have their own things going on in their lives. But we realized that if we want a chance at this, help may be our only hope. We would be so delighted for any help we receive; even if it is just sharing our page.
