Let's have a BABY!!!!!
Beschermde donatie
This is my lovely daughter Camryn, and her amazing husband Mike. If you know them, you love them just as much as I do!
They are hard working wonderful people that will do just about anything for those they care about. These 2 have known each other since high school and have been married for 9 years. Having a family has always been part of the plan, but it's been a rocky road to say the least!
After months of failed conception, Camryn was diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries. She was referred to an infertility specialist, which resulted in several pregnancies, but unfortunately most of them were tubal, and eventually one led to her losing one of her fallopian tubes. After 4 years of infertility treatments and a surgical emergency, they decided to take a break and regroup on their options to become parents. They talked about possibly doing In Vitro as a safer and most probable route to a successful pregnancy, but the cost was a major obstacle, so they started saving.
Then December of 2018 came around with shocking and unbelievable news- Mike was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had emergency surgery to remove the cancer and then went through chemo to ensure his best chance of beating the cancer. Unfortunately, chemo causes sterility, so with hope of one day filling their dream of being parents, semen was banked before chemo was started.
Today I am happy to report that Mike is healthy and fully recovered. Going through chemo was hard emotionally, physically, and financially, but it worked! And now the time is here for more new beginnings. Camryn has worked hard over the last several months to get down to a very safe pregnancy weight and has cleared all testing for In Vitro! She is a great candidate! The cost is the only thing holding them back at this point, which is why this mama is here writing this story for all of you to read! Like I told my beautiful daughter-it's just money; it's not cancer, and it's not an ovary that may or may not perform. There are enough people out here that want this for you two, and together we will all help to make it happen!
