Paying Tribute to Rosie Solomon

Hello friends and family of my mom Rosanna Solomon.

I contemplated making this GoFundMe Page, but I want my mom to have one final send off and to honor her plan of going to the Philippines together with my dad. My family and I would like to hold a viewing in Saipan, before sending her home to the Philippines, accompanied by my dad, to be buried.

I know that most people are going through financial hardships right now, so please do not feel obligated to give. But any amount donated is greatly appreciated and will help.

Our world is not as colorful without you mom. You’ve worked so hard for all of your life, and God decided that it’s time for you to rest and enjoy the wonders of heaven.

Thank you for taking care of not just me and dad, but your siblings and the rest of your family back home in the Philippines.

You showed me how to find the best in any situation. You showed me how to love unconditionally. You showed me how to forgive, and you showed me how to persevere.

The fruits of your selflessness showed the past few days, as friends and family gathered - either in person, video call, or through social media - to share and remember what you’ve done for them.

Dad and I will take care of the rest from here and will continue to make you proud. We love and miss you so much.

I know that my mom is feeling all the love, support, and prayers in heaven. Thank you to everyone who extended their condolences, and expressed their love for her and for my family.
