Paying Tribute to our beloved Luis

Dear Community,
Please help the family during this tragic loss. On Sunday, September 8th we lost the precious life of Luis Alberto Quiñonez, who was just 19 years old.
Luis was a vibrant, inspiring, and eloquent young man. He was an advocate and a fearless warrior fighting for justice and peace in our community. Let's come together to support Luis' family during this time to so that they can focus on healing.
From his family, "Community and family: as many of you have already heard, we lost our son and my brother Luis Sito Sunday night. As we process and grieve, we appreciate your love and prayers and ask that you please give us some space during this time. We will connect back when we emerge. Thank you."
Luis was a fellow with us at CURYJ and we are collecting funds on behalf of his family to support them with the expenses associated with loosing a loved one: travel, time off work, etc. All of the funds will go directly to Luis' family.
