Paying tribute to Efrain

Dear family, and friends, It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the death of my father Efrain Santana passing on 1/13/2023. He was sick for a while, and while getting better some complications led him to suffer a heart attack which led him to pass away. For those of you that knew him you know that he was a fighter. Efrain fought till the very end because he did not want to give up on his life.

I thank God that he allowed me to be with my dad when he most needed me. We got to spend the last month together not knowing that would be our last time sharing moments. Thank you dad for being a beloved dad, caring and understanding one, I feel at peace knowing that he can rest now.

As his only daughter you can imagine, I was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with a proper funeral service, cremation and travel expenses. My dad's funeral services would take place in Puerto Rico where he resides and as per his wishes where he wanted to rest. We want to host a private and dignified ceremony with his loved ones in Puerto Rico.

That is why I am reaching out for help to be able to cover the funeral expenses. Any well-received help, be it financially or in prayer is welcomed. Thank you so much for your help and for even considering donating.

Querida familia y amigos: Con gran pesar les anuncio el fallecimiento de mi padre Efraín Santana el 13/01/2023. Estuvo enfermo por un tiempo, y mientras mejoraba algunas complicaciones lo llevaron a sufrir un infarto que lo llevó a fallecer. Para aquellos de ustedes que lo conocieron saben que era un luchador. Efraín luchó hasta el final porque no quería renunciar a su vida.

Agradezco a Dios que me permitió estar con mi papá cuando más me necesitaba. Llegamos a pasar el último mes juntos sin saber que sería la última vez que compartiríamos momentos. Gracias papá por ser un papá amado, cariñoso y comprensivo, me siento en paz sabiendo que ahora puede descansar.

Como su única hija, se puede imaginar, no estaba preparada para la carga financiera que conlleva un servicio funerario adecuado, la cremación y los gastos de viaje. Los servicios funerarios de mi papá se llevarían a cabo en Puerto Rico donde reside y según sus deseos donde quería descansar. Queremos realizar una ceremonia privada y digna con sus seres queridos en Puerto Rico.

Por eso pido ayuda para poder cubrir los gastos del funeral. Cualquier ayuda bien recibida, ya sea económicamente o en oración, es bienvenida. Muchas gracias por su ayuda y por siquiera considerar donar.
