Pay it Forward to Dermot O'Rourke

On Tuesday November 28 2017, my brother Tad was having a routine work out at the Top Pro Martial Arts and Fitness Center in Kilkenny, Ireland.
He was preparing to spar with his trainer, Dermot O'Rourke. Tad had just gotten off the cardio equipment and putting on his spar gear when he suddenly felt ill and collapsed.
He was having a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest. Thanks to Dermot's quick action and knowledge, he was able to start saving Tad's life by performing CPR. The staff at Top Pro also knew to promptly call for emergency services, which arrived a quick, but agonizing 6 minutes later. Meanwhile Dermot is doing what he can and praying that Tad would not die. He did not die thanks to Dermot. The doctors said that even if an AED was immediately available, it was the chest compressions that saved him.
I would love the opportunity to show my gratitude to Dermot and Top Pro for this act of courage. I would like to raise funds that would provide Dermot and Top Pro the opportunity to purchase an AED and sponsor a CPR class. I would like to give the opportunity to others that know and love my brother the ability to join me in thanking Dermot and Top Pro by donating funds towards this goal.
