Help Me Fund a Life-Changing Medical Assistance Dog

My name is Layla (also known as Ally), and I’m raising funds to bring a new medical assistance dog into my life—a partner who will help me stay safe, stable, and independent every single day.

For years, my current medical assistance dog, Arlo, has been by my side. He has supported me through chronic migraines, mental health challenges, and anxiety, alerting me before episodes begin and providing the pressure therapy that helps ground and calm my body. With Arlo beside me, I’ve been able to work, travel, leave the house with confidence, and live a fuller, safer life.

But Arlo is now nearing the end of his working career. He has earned a peaceful, loving retirement—curled up on our laps in front of the fire, surrounded by the family he’s helped keep safe for so long. As heartbreaking as it is to retire him, it’s time to find the next partner who can continue this essential work.

A new medical assistance dog will help me:

Receive alerts for oncoming migraines

Detect and respond to anxiety and mental health episodes

Provide deep pressure therapy to stabilize my body

Maintain independence and safety in daily life

Continue doing the things I can only do with a trained dog by my side
