Paul Roque - Citizenship Campaign
Donation protected
In August of last year, Paul submitted his Application for US Naturalization, this decision came after nearly thirty years residing in the US and just prior to his most recent Legal Resident Status expiration. We employed a lawyer to help us navigate the process and have certainly not regretted doing so. Considering the current and ever changing climate surrounding Immigration as a whole, it's proven to have been a wise decision. Case in Point: our lawyer has recently notified us of a new decision handed down in November of 2017 that puts Paul at a higher risk of Denial of Citizenship and, therefore, deportation. Unfortunately, this is not the first correspondence of this kind we've received since setting out on this journey. We have exhausted all of our financial resources to retain legal counsel, prepare and submit Paul's application, and field other road blocks in obtaining his Naturalization prior to this recent news. This newest breakthrough has accumulated more legal fees for our family, while our lawyer prepares further arguments to safeguard him from deportation. All that being said, we have found ourselves in need of help from those around us so that we can keep our husband and father here with us. We appreciate any help available, it’s all hands on deck at this point.
Thanks for your time and consideration. We’ll continue to keep everyone updated.
With Love,
Paul, Shay, Devon, and Camilla
