Paul always wanted to join the army but unfortunately he couldn't because he wore glasses and that wasn't allowed back then.

This didn't stop him from doing what he could to keep up with everything he might have had. He surrounded himself with his collections of armoury, uniforms and military ephemera of every kind. He used to say that his flat was "The Tooting branch of the Imperial War Museum".

The Legion does so much to help veterans and their families. In particular help with the rehabilitation of service people who have been catastrophically injured by I.E.D's. This is a cause that I'm certain Paul would be pleased that we have chosen.
