Paul Burfeindt's Medical Expenses

Hello everyone… This is not the way we planned to start our 2024. Nevertheless, our family is starting this GoFund Me to help with medical expenses and future expenses that will result after receiving some devastating news.

Two week ago, Paul found out he has cancer. What was supposed to be a routine work up following an accident in mid-January 2024 turned into the most life changing news. The past week two weeks, he has undergone medical procedures to determine more information. We found out he not only has Stage 4 colon cancer, but that this cancer is aggressive and has spread rapidly throughout his body. Surgery is no longer an option. He will undergo extensive chemotherapy, extended hospital visits, and other necessary medical procedures that his oncology team will deem necessary for the remainder of his life.

As one of the most hardworking men we know, our dad is no longer able to work. Our family will be making necessary adjustments to make his life as peaceful and as comfortable as possible. In the interim, as we have looked into many things relating to his health, his health insurance is not the best and the extensive treatment needed to prolong his life and help him will take a huge financial toll on our family.
