America’s Greatest Generation, who fought and won World War Two are leaving us now. They have left a legacy of Freedom and Honor to those they leave behind. Exhaustive research through thousands of files and years of writing have created a trilogy and a photographic record that is now being assembled. This story, hidden in plain sight is from personal recollections, images and unpublished journals is nearing its final stage.
The United States Third Army, manned by the Greatest Generation and commanded by General Patton, left a grateful nation a winning record that is being told from a view into Patton’s Headquarters in a way to help all the generations understand what really happened. It is a truth about a General, the soldiers of the greatest generation and how they, together, toured Europe with the famous US Third Army and conquered the Nazi’s in WWII. This three volume book set cried out to be written. The information has existed in plain sight but was hidden in dusty files for over 70 years. The information is finally being brought together to tell the story of the Greatest Generation under the command of General Patton.
Our goal of $30,000 dollars will help us complete the massive editing, graphic design and book design to finish the project. Some $12,000 dollars has all ready been spent to get it this far. When the project is completed, the research files will be made available for on line research, school projects and future historians to use. In order to keep the cost down and make the book affordable, we are going to publish in on demand. In other words, it will be self- published.
