Pat Thorburn Memorial Kimball Hill Park RM

On September 10th, 2020, Rolling Meadows High School unexpectedly lost Pat Thorburn, a cherished friend and faculty member who made so many contributions to our RMHS family over his 25+ years at Rolling Meadows High School. He was the glue that held everyone together in the Social Science/World Languages Department and in our school. We laughed, cried, and shared many good times together and he will be forever missed. To honor his memory we would like to raise funds for a memorial which will be located in Kimball Hill Park in Rolling Meadows. The memorial (a beautiful bench with a plaque and a tree) will be visited by members of our community and future Mustangs. Pat was an avid reader, loved history, loved traveling to obscure places and most of all, loved going on extended bike rides, so, what better way to keep his memory alive than to give him a place in the center of our community  for people to do the same things he enjoyed.
