Pat baade’s accident support fund

Hello my uncle Pat Baade is in Ann Arbor fighting for his life. He had a medical incident while driving that caused him to hit a telephone pole and then he was hit by a truck. His injuries are horrible… his whole left side was crushed, every bone in his face was broken, he has bleeding on the brain and it damaged his aorta. Like any family in this situation we are overwhelmed with heartache and worry and just asking for Gods healing hand to pull him through. Our family thanks everybody for the outpour of love and support. It means so much to know the amount of prayers and love going to Pat.

Police: Driver experienced medical episode before crash

Michigan State Police believe a man suffered from a medical episode just before a crash in the city of Flint.

It happened on Corunna Road near Tacken Street Thursday evening, Sept. 30.

A vehicle, driven by a 56-year-old man from Flint, was eastbound when it left the roadway to the left and collided with a telephone pole and another vehicle, according to the preliminary investigation.

The 56-year-old was listed in critical condition. No other injuries were reported. Alcohol is not a contributing factor, and the driver was wearing his seatbelt, MSP said.
