Passion Fruit's Dental Surgery Fundraiser

Hi! My name is Melissa. I rescue cats in the Katy area and the Houston surrounding area.

Meet Passion Fruit! He comes from Richmond, Texas.

Passion Fruit was found as you see him in the cover photo: skin and bones. I rescued him thinking he just needed a reliable food source to gain some weight. But I was wrong!

Poor baby actually has stomatitis, which is a condition that causes painful swelling and sores inside the mouth.

Symptoms include swelling and redness inside the mouth or individual painful sores that can make it uncomfortable to eat. So all his teeth need to come out; you can see the vet’s recommendation on the most recent visit he had.

When we are asked to rescue cats, we don’t know what we’re going to get.

So I’d love to raise some funds for the rescue that agreed to accept him into their program. His surgery is going to be expensive, so any donation amount helps so much.

It helps us to continue helping our communities when we’re asked to trap cats or rescue them.
