Donation protected
Gut Level presents a 14 hour party stream

About the charities you will be supporting:

Foodhall / Sheffield
We have so much love an respect for everyone at Foodhall and all they do for the city. Largely volunteer run, they aim to tackle social isolation and encourage integration across a diverse range of groups through their community cafe, where communal meals made from surplus food donations are served on a ‘contribute what you can’ basis.

Their service is now more important than ever. They have increased their output with the help of even more volunteers, adapting their service to comply with social distancing they are providing cooked food parcels for hundreds of vulnerable people every week.

For more info on what they are doing to support the community check out their website: https://www.foodhallproject.org/

These Walls Must Fall C19 Solidarity Fund

A national network of campaigners and supporters in communities who want to see an end to immigration detention.

Right now, we are campaigning to empty the detention centres before Covid-19 takes hold. You can take action by writing to your MP: https://detentionaction.e-activist.com/page/58944/-/1

At least two centres now have confirmed cases. There is no way to self-isolate in detention. Following a campaign and legal action, the Home Office released several hundred people, but around 400-500 people still remain in UK immigration detention centres. During the Coronavirus crisis, everyone is at risk, but people with insecure immigration status are particularly in need of help right now. Many don’t qualify for government help, and are missing out on local voluntary initiatives.

You can find more about These Walls Must Fall, join the campaign and read about future fundraising events at http://detention.org.uk, or https://www.facebook.com/TheseWallsMustFall

They are working hard with groups on the ground to support migrants in the community through Covid-19. They have started a fund to support migrant groups. Money from our event will go to LGBTQ group African Rainbow Family in Manchester, https://www.facebook.com/AfricanRainbowFamily, Migrant Action in Barnsley (https://migrantaction.org.uk/migrant-action-barnsley-advocating-supporting-migrants/ ), and to These Walls Must Fall migrant campaigners in South Yorkshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. More info about the fund: https://detention.org.uk/coronavirus-solidarity-fund/

Both organisations are working closely with communities to help those most in need and would greatly benefit from any donations big or small <3
