i am on a mission to get a paro seal for a dementia care facility , these seals are robotic seals that cost a fortune thousands of pounds in fact, they have been proven to help people with dementia interact again, these seals have theraputic propeties to them and it has been proven that these paro seals offer a great way for patients of dementia to feel calm and at ease, unfortunately like i said these seals cost a fortune so are not a possibility for many. i have recently completed a understanding dementia course and on my journey through that course stumbled upon these on the internet and believe they could offer someone great comfort when they are in dire need of comforting and being reassured and feeling a sence of calmness. they have had great success with these all over the world and are not available in the uk as present and would be shipped from america. one of these would be a massive achievement but more than one would be amazing, thanks btw im just a 30 year old woman who sufferes mental health and very interested in the brain and mind especially dementia
btw donations can be made from all over the world and doesnt have to be from the uk, thank you again please help me raise funds for atleast one person with dementia. This would give atleast one person with dementia a sence of calmness. This could be happening to any of you/us at any time. Could be happening to you now. I am so passionate about helping people with illnesses that effect the brain. I came across these seals and it made me cry how something so simple can give such a sence of calmness to someone with dementia. Me you your parents grandparents either have dementia or will have it or you will be a relative of someone who does. Please if you could help me i would be much appreciated. Id also like to say any donations made over the "target" will be spent on providing ipods/mp3 players etc to individual dementia patients. Pre loaded with music from their last. Dementia patients who were otherwise not responding to other theraputic aids were also very responsive to just listening to music from their past. We all now how powerfull music can be. Please help out if its only $1 or £1 it will really help someone in need. What if it was your mother father granmother grandfather etc. Dementia can also happen to younger generations also so please help me in my appeal
