Painting Kindness for Parkside School Students
Donation protected
Hi! I’m Dom Sessa, resident of Salisbury, and known as the Girl in the Pink Wheelchair! I think I’m known for my love of kindness too!
Not only do I love the world and kindness, but I love art.
We have the opportunity here in Salisbury to provide our students at Parkside High School the opportunity to participate in The Kindness Rocks & Smiles Community Project. That’s why I’m asking you to donate and or share my message with your friends and family!
The KRS Community Project was founded on the basic principle of kindness, empathy, and accessibility. As a well-known advocate of disability and education on the Shore, I believe that The KRS Community Project is the perfect thing to fundraise for!
Fundraising removes the cost of The KRS Kit for our Parkside students.
The KRS Community Project Kit includes:
· A 4’ x 8’ KRS banner with 50 blank Kindness Rocks and 50 blank faces
· A copy of The KRS Workbook for Adults
· A copy of The KRS Workbook for Kids
· A copy of The KRS Coloring Book
· A Participation Certificate
· Custom XL Paint Pens
· 50 KRS Community Outreach Postcards
· 50 Participant Smile Stickers
· 50 Smile Care Packages for your community that support The Happy Hope Factory
Right now, our students are experiencing the pandemic in unique ways as they navigate school and everyday life. The same way our teachers are. This KRS Community Project Kit would allow our students to connect to one another, to spread their art to others, and even help our teaching staff too.
The best part about these kits? Everyone can participate, no matter if they need adaptations or not!
Art is a universal language. For me, I'm an artist too - even with a disability! With your donation to my GoFundMe, Parkside students and teachers will not have to worry about the costs and can enjoy the many benefits.
Accessibility means love!
And art means love!
So please help me with painting some love and kindness for our Parkside students by donating or sharing this fundraiser with your friends today!
Love and hugs,
Dom
