Park West Montessori's Spring Philanthropy Project

Tax deductible
Honey bees are vital to our food chain and support many plant and flower species through pollination. In fact, more than $15 billion a year in U.S. crops are pollinated by bees, including apples, berries, cantaloupes, cucumbers, alfalfa, and almonds. Without bees to spread seeds, many plants—including food crops—would die off.

This year, as part of Park West Montessori's global philanthropy project,  the Parents Voice Committee is raising money on behalf of Bees without Borders, a nonprofit run by Andrew Cote, a parent in the Twin Parks Montessori community and local beekeeper.

Our goal is to raise $2000 which will fund a new project Andrew is launching in The Bahamas, teaching a local community how to manage and maintain colonies, extract honey, and sell for profit. It is Andrew's goal to develop and implement strategies that offer low-income communities a path to sustainability and growth.

Many thanks in advance for your support and generosity!
