Parents of Addicted Loved Ones

My mother, Cindy Stone, has been through a lot due to my addiction. After attending weekly meetings for almost two years, she flew out to Arizona on her own dime and became certified to host her own meetings. She started in Indianapolis, and due to work and family, has now relocated to Cincinnati where she started a new meeting. These meetings help/teach families and parents how to cope and heal from the series scars and wounds addiction causes. Whether the son, daughter, nephew, niece, brother, or sister is still in active addiction or recovery, the families still need to heal as well. These meetings for the families are as important as rehabilitation is to addicts. I am Cindy’s son who forced her into this lifestyle, and can tell you she’s a huge part of me being over 4 years clean to this day. As an addict in recovery, it is pertinent for people to know that families play a big part of addicts staying in active addiction by enabling in multiple forms. Please help my mother spread the education of healing families by supporting her journey in growing these meetings. Thank you.
