Paradise and Chico Rebuild - CA student trip

Donation protected

NorCalTeens is a SF Bay Area student services group trying to help communities in need.  We are self-organized and self-funded.

Last year we helped Puerto Rico rebuild after the hurricane, this year we are helping Paradise and Chico recover from wildfires.

The Camp Fire was the deadliest and most destructive wildfire in California history. It covered more than 240 square miles, destroyed over 18,000 homes and structures, and caused 85 deaths and over $16.5 billion in damage.  More than 1,000 families are still looking for housing

We are helping with temporary housing, distribute food and water to impacted families (Paradise Hope Center), and rebuild homes (Habitat for Humanity of Butte County). Eight teens and one adult chaperone will be traveling to the area for a week in June to work directly with these organizations to help with the rebuilding and supporting efforts.
