2020 will mark a decade of living, breathing, and loving Boston. I have spent my entire adult life in this city and I couldn’t be prouder to call this city my home. I am thrilled to announce I will be running the 2020 Boston Marathon for MA HOBY, an organization I have found has supported me in my growth as an individual/professional here in Boston these past few years.
To put a little more context into the not-for profit I am running for, MA HOBY is a youth leadership organization that inspires and develops high school students dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. For the past five years, I have volunteered for this global organization and seen the impact it has on young minds. One of the greatest and transformative moments I witness every year is seeing some of these individuals from my group move forward and become volunteers for the larger organization, in hopes to help further the mission of HOBY. With the relationships I have built these past few years, I am honored to be running for MA HOBY. This organization is so deserving of the support from not only my friends and family, but also my larger network of community.
With that said, as I embark on this exciting new journey to 26.2, I have pledged to raise $5,500 by May 30, 2020 and I need your help! I hope you'll consider supporting my marathon fundraising campaign for HOBY.
