Mississippi Underpass Green Space

The neighborhoods of Palma Ceia, and Bayshore Gardens,  have joined forces, to raise money to beautify the Expressway Underpass on Mississippi Ave, in South Tampa.  These underpasses all need to be cleaned up and beautified eventually, and the only way this takes place, is in a "grass-roots" fashion, with neighborhood participation.  All the plans and permits are in place.  We got the Expressway Authority to paint the walls, and the City of Tampa, to commit to installing irrigation.  All donations will be used to purchase the plants, gravel, and mulch.  Thus far, we have collected approximately $6200 from neighbors and local businesses, however, the minimum budget for the materials, to cover this amount of ground, on both sides of the street, is $9700.  Please help us complete this project, and beautify one more little piece of the City!
