Help Send Paley to Tanzania
Video & Pictures: Produced by CCBRT Staff
About Me:
Hi, I am Paley Sweet and I have been accepted as a Princeton in Africa Fellow ! I will start a yearlong fellowship in August at the Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Center in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It has been a dream of mine to work in East Africa and be of service in the Public Health sector. This wonderful opportunity is sponsored by Johnson & Johnson up to $14,000. I have been saving up for this next year, but am hoping to have some help. The fellowship position does not cover expenses like airfare, vaccine costs, and transportation. Any amount of support you are willing to give is greatly appreciated!
About CCBRT and my Fellowship:
The Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Center (CCBRT) is a health care organization which works to prevent disability, provide affordable medical and rehabilitative services, and empower people with disabilities and their families. They also work to strengthen the Tanzanian maternal and newborn health system, and advocate for disability rights. I have included a story about CCBRT's eye programs and an overview video of CCBRT, please look at it if you have the chance. CCBRT's Eye Services. I will be the External Affairs fellow at CCBRT. This includes helping to build the capacity of CCBRT so they can serve more people. I am really looking forward to learning from and working with people most affected by the lack of access to quality and affordable rehabilitation services. Thank you for supporting me, and I also wanted to share a way to support CCBRT as well. Click here to help fund CCBRT's programs.
