Pacers in Pink! Lakeridge Pink Week 2020

Every year, Lakeridge High School students participate in Pink Week, raising money for people affected by breast cancer during events throughout the school week. Due to the unprecedented circumstances upon us, we aren't able to fundraise for Pink Week like usual, so this is our next best thing! 
Breast cancer affects thousands of women (and men!) in the United States every year, and has the second-highest death rate among cancers in women, being just behind lung cancer. 
Breast Friends is a local organization in Tigard, Oregon that ensures no woman goes through cancer alone, offering counseling services, support groups, empowerment workshops, transportation for hospital trips, and much more! Especially in times like these, it's easy to feel completely alone and hopeless, and Breast Friends is here to combat that.
