Optometric Service Trip
Donation protected
Hey family and friends! Thanks to your love and support I am almost halfway through optometry school! 2nd year students at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry are given the opportunity to travel to and give free eyecare to patients in Cap Haitien, Haiti. We provide glasses, sunglasses, glaucoma and cataract treatment to prevent blindness, and more for those who cannot afford it. We have returned to the same clinic in Cap Haitien for over 5 years to offer annual sustainable care for these patients. Last summer, our students helped them examine almost 2,000 patients in 4 days!
It would be an opportunity of a lifetime to travel to Haiti this summer with SOSH, Students in Optometric Service to Humanity. But only the students who raise the donated funds by May 1st are allowed to attend the trip. Any donation amount is much appreciated. Thank YOU for making this a reality for me!
