Out, damned cancer!

Cancer hit twice too close to home for comfort in the past 10 years. That is why I embraced the fight against it and became part of the wonderful Mimosa Association (www.mimosamatters.org; FB @Mimosa Matters) in the South of France, my adoptive country. We have been doing some awesome work together, touching the lives of so many people in need.

In the past few years I have been in awe of the work of two incredible women who decided to build a state of the art paediatric oncology hospital in Bucharest, Romania, my native country, by crowdfunding (and they did and their outstanding work continues!) In November I will be going on a cycling challenge (420 km in 7 days, from Vietnam to Cambodia) and I will be raising much needed funds for these two charities.
