Build Beds for Our Guatemala

Hi!
In June my friends and I are traveling to Guatemala on a service trip. We are collecting funds to purchase beds and bedding for local families.

When we are in Guatemala, we will assemble the beds and deliver them to the homes of locally identified families in need so they have a safe and clean place to sleep. We will replace what they are currently using for beds, such as twigs, cinder blocks, wooden pallets, or nothing at all. The beds and bedding will be purchased via capacity-building organizations in Guatemala. One of them is The Bed Project.

The Bed Project is a skill-building transition program for at-risk youth. They hand craft beds and sew bedding to sell. This provides their community with items they need, while learning life-long valuable trade and business skills for themselves.

How Can You Help?
Your donation will go directly to purchase the bedding items from the Bed Project, which we will then deliver and set up. Please consider helping with a donation:
