April update - We need at least $4000.00 to make it to the end of the year just to keep the lights, heat, and water going + pay property taxes. I break down the cost of bills below.

Our mother passed fairly suddenly, before we could finalize all the plans she wanted to put into place for us toward the end.

If you're a stranger coming upon this, you can see we are ordinary folks, sucking up our pride, just asking for some help while we stabilize and figure things out. We are doing our part daily, just hoping for some support so we can breathe a little through what has been an incredibly difficult time and will continue to be for a while longer.

Daily we are struggling with cleaning out our house, donating items that cannot be sold, trying to list items on eBay (ck_kollectibles) for sale, and praying we can pay that next bill so the power doesn't get shut off. All while working with lawyers to get Chris put in charge of handling the business side of things and making him the "official executor" so he is allowed to.

With her sudden passing, we are faced with the pressing needs of funeral arrangements (simple cremation, but costly), and upcoming financial obligations like keeping the lights on, the water, and now we are burdened with saving our house from a reverse mortgage.

In this difficult time, we are humbly seeking your support to help cover the costs of her memorial service, probate, and the impending bills ahead.

The money you send will be going toward:

bringing home mom's ashes
paying the utility bills. We've given up phone, TV, majority of electricity, cut back heavily on water usage, gas is non existent. Below are estimates of the bills we have. I rounded up in case of taxes, etc.

>> Electric is $150/month (powers heat too)

>> $100/month internet that helps us pay bills.

>> $200/2 months water

>> $56/month trash/recycle/organics pickup

(we use the recycle a lot right now)

Food (we buy very little)
And saving to pay off the reverse mortgage.

None of these funds will be used for anything else. Nothing frivolous, nothing outside of what has been listed above. We are doing everything to bring in money in a variety of ways and cutting out everything we can right now that costs $$.
