Our little dog, Pugsley, needs your help.

Hi everyone,

We are Jon and Kim, and we trying to make sure we can pay the vet bills for our pug, Pugsley. Over the weekend she went from being a happy little lady to being horribly ill, having to stay in an emergency vet hospital.

It started this Saturday with being tired and not wanting to lay down, then a growth appeared on the side of her head. She became lethargic and scared. Hiding from us and clearly being in a lot of pain. We rushed her to the vet, who told us it could just be an abscess and should resolve with antibiotics and painkillers. She seemed fine throughout the night, being high as a kite on the drugs she got injected.

Fast forward to Sunday afternoon where we are rushing to the vet once more because she was hardly breathing and in and out of consciousness. The vets up until now have no clue what is going on, why there is growth, and why she cannot breathe on her own.

We are awaiting the CT scan results, the biopt results, and all the jazz that comes with figuring out what is wrong with your pet. However, the bills are racking up and the fear of not being able to pay for said treatments is giving a lot of additional stress.

All we want it to help her and make sure she is being taken care off. We are asking for as much as you can spare. Every bit counts and if you are not in the position to help just sharing this page will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks you for donating and helping us save our little lady Pugsley.

Hallo allemaal,

Wij zijn Jon en Kim, en wij hebben hulp nodig voor ons mopshondje Pugsley. Momenteel is zij in de intensive care dierenkliniek, zonder uitzicht op verlossend woord van wat er gaande is met haar.

Afgelopen zaterdag is zij met spoed naar de kliniek gebracht omdat er een zwelling ontstond in haar nek/kaak. Pugsley had pijn, was angstig, en ongelooflijk overstuur. Eenmaal daar dachten de dierenartsen dat er een abses groeiende was, en met wat antibiotica en pijnstiller zijn we naar huis gegaan. Zij heeft heerlijk geslapen door die medicatie.

Maar helaas werd Zondag middag al gauw duidelijk dat zij nog niet in orde was. Ze raakte verzwakt, sloom, afwezig. Haar ademen werd moeilijker en we zijn opnieuw met gierende banden naar Utrecht gereden. Bij aankomst met blauwe tong van zuurstof tekort is zij in een zuurstof kooi gelegd en daar ligt ze nu nog steeds.

We zijn in afwachting van resultaat van de biopten, bloed onderzoek en de CT scan voor antwoorden. Tot op heden weten wij nog niks, behalve dat ze niet zonder de extra zuurstof kan en dat de dierenarts rekeningen zich opstapelen. Dit zorgt natuurlijk voor extra stress, want wij willen haar kunnen blijven helpen.
