help my family fix our car

my name is eli. i'm a black disabled chronically ill lesbian in new york city. my mom reb has had cancer since i was three, and it worsened to stage IV when i was nine.  we have been homeless and in a domestic violence household. our car (her name is rocket) is very important to us because of both of our disabilities, and the mta (the public transport in nyc) is not always reliable. rocket has several problems that we can't afford to fix without making sacrifices. thank you for helping in whatever way you can, whether it be donating or sharing this around. thank you so much.
