Orphanage and Mosque Project in Ivory Cost (Abobo)
Donation protected
Orphanage Khalid Ibn Walid in Abobo, Abidjan, Ivory Coast is in need of our support.
Abobo is one of the most heavily populated and impoverished neighborhoods of Abidjan the capital city of Ivory Coast in West Africa. Solid'Action, a non profit located in Abidjan, decided to assit this orphanage in Abobo with food and other necessities. However, the non profit soon realized that the orphanage needed more than just food. Despite the best efforts of the caretakers, the children live in less than desirable conditions. The mosque which is part of the orphanage also needed a lot of help. Solid'Action is attempting to raise about $250,000 USD to provide shelter, classrooms, a library and renovate the mosque that services the orphans.
Our Goal is to raise $10,000.00 that will go directly to Solid'Action to support their ongoing efforts.
This is an opportunity for each Muslim to help for sadaqat jariyat and to get the reward of taking care an orphan recommended by our beloved Prophet (PBUH).
