Join us in our efforts to transform the lives of teen mothers in Minahasa, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. We're embarking on a crucial project to renovate the Tendean family home, located in a serene mountain village.
Our goal is to create a unique safe haven for teen mothers in need, offering them an opportunity to build a brighter future. In this region, teen mothers face immense challenges – often abandoned by their families and partners, they're forced to drop out of school and sometimes even pushed into prostitution. Many of them have no choice but to give up their precious children for adoption.
Our vision is to break this cycle of despair. By supporting our campaign, you'll enable us to provide these young mothers with a place to live while continuing their education. We'll also provide vocational training, ensuring they have the skills to secure a better future for themselves and their children.
Furthermore, we aim to establish a Leadership Centre in collaboration with Sam Ratulangi University in the capital city of Manado, North Sulawesi. This will serve as an educational hub for our beneficiaries, helping them access higher education and gain valuable skills for life.
Our organization has a history of making a positive impact in Indonesia. Founded in 2001 in majority-Christian North Sulawesi, we've seen our children graduate from local universities. We have also undertaken significant projects in majority-Muslim Aceh, Sumatera, following the 2004 Tsunami, and in majority-Hindu Bali in 2005.
To make this dream a reality, we need your support. Our budget includes $25,000 for home restoration and an annual cost of $25,000 to sustain this life-changing initiative.
