Kello Media Second Anniversary Fundraiser

OROMO WOMEN SUPPORT KELLO MEDIA

Oromo women have always been the backbone of the Oromo struggle and the moral compass that guides our society. At this crucial juncture in the fight for freedom and justice, it is imperative that we take a stand for what we truly believe in and pursue actionable steps to ensure our grassroots institutions can stand the test of time. That is why we, Oromo women from across the diaspora, have decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign in support of Kello Media.

Kello Media is a 501(c)(3) non-profit news and media company. Kello’s mission is to provide Oromo and other African communities with un-biased, accurate information in a timely manner. Since the founding of Kello Media Company in 2019, the organization has amassed hundreds of thousands of viewers and has become a popular platform amongst media consumers in the Horn of Africa. Their news programs are currently broadcasted on satellite in several countries, including within Oromia.

Kello Media’s determination to genuinely represent the voices of the Oromo people has made them a target for groups and organizations dedicated to diminishing, disregarding and eliminating the Oromo voice and perspective. We will not idly stand by and watch as malignant forces attempt to destroy yet another Oromo organization. As mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters we have the moral obligation and God-given right to lead and defend our community.
