Queridos familiares, amigos y todos los que han sido parte de este camino…

No encontramos palabras suficientes para expresar lo extremadamente agradecidos que estamos por el apoyo y generosidad que hemos recibido. Ha sido profundamente conmovedor sentir cómo nos han abrazado, como nos han sostenido con su amor, sus oraciones, sus mensajes, sus aportes y estando ahí sin reservas, acompañándonos en este momento difícil que nos ha tocado vivir. Infinitas gracias por ser esa red de soporte que sostiene cuando uno de los nuestros, en este caso, mi papá, más lo necesita.

Como muchos saben, mi papá ha estado enfrentando una situación de salud muy delicada. En una primera etapa, y gracias a muchos de ustedes, pudimos dar los primeros pasos para entender su condición. Se le realizó un procedimiento para abordar el área afectada, tomar muestras de tejido y hueso, y así poder obtener mayor claridad sobre la causa del dolor crónico que lo ha dejado imposibilitado de caminar y realizar muchas de sus actividades cotidianas.

Recientemente, se le realizaron nuevos estudios, y ahora está programado para una cirugía de columna lumbar por abordaje postero lateral, específicamente a nivel de L2-L3, donde se busca: descomprimir la zona para aliviar el dolor y la presión, tomar una biopsia amplia que permita entender mejor el origen del problema y descomprimir el foramen del lado afectado, lo que permitirá liberar los nervios comprometidos y mejorar su movilidad y calidad de vida.

Para poder llevar a cabo esta cirugía, necesitamos reunir $15.000, y es por eso que, con humildad, pero también con esperanza, recurrimos nuevamente a este medio. Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que parezca, suma enormemente. También agradecemos que nos sumen a sus oraciones y que puedan compartir esta campaña con otros que tal vez puedan y quieran ayudar.

Sabemos que mi papá aún tiene mucho por vivir, por compartir, por disfrutar. Con su fuerza y con la ayuda de todos ustedes, confiamos en que saldrá adelante.

Dear family, friends, and everyone who has been part of this journey…

We can’t find enough words to express how incredibly grateful we are for the support and generosity we’ve received. It has been deeply moving to feel your embrace—to feel how you’ve held us up with your love, your prayers, your messages, your contributions, and your unconditional presence, walking with us through this difficult moment we’re living. Endless thanks for being that support network that holds us together when one of our own—in this case, my dad—needs it the most.

As many of you know, my dad has been facing a very serious health situation. In the first stage, and thanks to so many of you, we were able to take the initial steps to understand his condition. A procedure was done to examine the affected area, take tissue and bone samples, and hopefully gain more clarity about the cause of the chronic pain that has left him unable to walk or carry out many of his daily activities.

Recently, he underwent new tests, and he is now scheduled for lumbar spine surgery via a postero-lateral approach, specifically at the L2-L3 level. The goals are: to decompress the area to relieve the pain and pressure, take a more extensive biopsy to better understand the origin of the problem, and decompress the foramen on the affected side, which will help release the compressed nerves and improve his mobility and overall quality of life.

To move forward with this surgery, we need to raise $15,000, and that’s why, with humility but also with hope, we are once again turning to this platform. Any contribution, no matter how small it may seem, makes a huge difference. We’re also incredibly grateful for your prayers and for sharing this campaign with others who may be willing and able to help.

We know my dad still has so much life left to live, to share, and to enjoy. With his strength and with the help of all of you, we believe he will get through this.
