So proud of my brother, Pryor Baird 
He's a home grown Old Orcutt musician who grew up and attended local schools; May Grisham Elemenatary, Orcutt Jr. High School, and graduated from Righetti High School in 2001. Pryor is following his dream and is advancing quickly as an artist on the NBC show, TheVoice.
From an early age, Pryor always had a guitar in his hands and performed in every talent show this side of Orcutt and Santa Maria. Music is his way of connecting people and sharing his passion. Orcutt friends will remember Pryor as a humble guy in high school who was a natural athlete in swim and water polo. He was also part of the Righetti Marimba Band. As Pryor grew as a musician and moved to Nashville, he continues to have a heart for his home town, Orcutt and the Central Coast. Pryor has played in backyard BBQ' s, weddings, local and regional establishments like Rooney's, Mongo's Saloon and The James Joyce.
After all four chairs turned during the blind auditions on TheVoice, I knew then Pryor was going to go far in this journey sharing his blues and country roots with his music. Now's our chance to give back and show Pryor that Orcutt is Voting Team Pryor. Every dollar counts. We have formed a Team Pryor committee working on these local promotional efforts so that during his time on TheVoice, our Orcutt community can show our hometown pride through displaying signage, banners, posters, flyers.
