On March 12 2015, 8 year old Sitra Dawe (of Brooks Alberta) was struck at a crosswalk by a vehicle on her way to school. She sustained life threatening injuries that required her to be put in a drug induced coma and air lifted via Stars from Brooks Alberta to Calgary Childrens Hospital.
Her injuries have been extensive and she is receiving the best care from so many amazing doctors.
Her family are by her side with love and prayers.

Dawe Family Fundraiser has been set up to help with the financial burden that this has caused. And to also show this family they have support from so many from Brooks and Area.
A Family Trust Fund in the Dawe name has also been set up ATB Financial in Brooks Alberta.
