OPERATION BUMBLE

OPERATION BUMBLE Hello and thank you for looking at my fund raising page.  My name is Bea and I am a very proud Royal Marine Cadet.  I am 14 and I am on my build up to apply for the Royal Marines when I am 16. As part of my fitness training I am going to do an event that is based on one of the four Commando tests and as part of this I am going make it a fund raiser for the following two groups: The Royal Marines Family Castledord Royal Marine Cadets X Company.  About the Comanndo test.  The Royal Marines have a reputation as having the hardest basic training in the world and it is certainly the longest.  At the end of this training is the COMMANDO Tests after which they are awarded the famous Green Beret.   Depending on what level of fitness I reach I will be doing either the 9 miler or the 30 miler. Please note I am copying these tests not claiming I have done exactly the same as the recruits. This means that the distance and time limits will be the same, not the terrain or the loads carried. I want to show that I have the STATE OF MIND to be a Royal Marine.  Whichever test I do, it will end at the Royal Marine monument at Speenbridge in the Scottish Highlands, where I will change into my Blues and salute the men that it is dedicated to.  All donations will go to the groups stated. All the costs for example hotels, food and beer for my Dad will be paid for by my Mum and Dad. That means if you are very kind and give £10 then that £10 will go to the groups. There will also be some incentives for your donations.  £10  You will receive a thank you card from me. £20  Gets you a special addition patch and there will only be 50 of these EVER made.  £50  I will send you a surprise treat and a handwritten letter. £100 I am going to have a party to celebrate and you will be invited. Of course you will have to pay for your travel and things but I promise it will be an amazing night.  It will be in August and once we work out where everyone is travelling from we will find somewhere that is central as possible. However if you are unabale to make it we will not be able to offer an alternative. This is because Mum and Dad will be paying for the party as EVERY penny donated is going to the two groups. £500 This will be rewarded by something super special. Dad will arrange a time where we can all meet and go for a meal. It will be in a location that we can all agree on and again you will be responsible for travelling to and from the restaurant. £1000 Well, we genuinely do not know about this one but it will be something special. Try us!! I was thinking of hiring my Dad out for the day. but Mum says you would want some change. Updates will be provided as I go along with my training and also my challenge.  At the end of the challenge and once Dad has recovered we will be making a book out of the updates and you will be able to buy a signed copy, again my parents will be covering the costs so all the proceeds go to the two groups.  Thank you for reading and if you have donated, thank you for making a difference. If you are not able to donate, PLEASE don't worry but could I ask you to please RT my link and tell 8 million people about it?
