Open Source Medical Supplies BC Fundraiser
Background
Open Source Medical Supplies BC (OSMS-BC) is a non-profit organization that supports local companies, design teams and maker communities fighting COVID-19. We help them find the people, resources and connections they need so that they can succeed.
We support teams working on:
•Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) production to create essential gear like sneeze guards, ear savers and overalls for frontline responders, medical personnel and other essential workers
•Remote monitoring systems for patients
•Negative pressure vents for operating rooms
•A variety of ventilator designs
•And more!
Help us help them so we can build the lifesaving tools, gear and solutions that are essential in the multi-wave fight against COVID 19! #GetthatPPE
OSMS-BC is hoping to raise $2,000.00 in order to cover expenses made to support our local fabricators and manufacturers.
Where Your Funds Will Go

We are the BC chapter of the Open Source Medical Supplies movement. We work with dozens of disparate BC-based teams working on engineering and manufacturing projects, providing them with resources such as:
Open-source design plans that have been medically and technically reviewed by the OSMS Guides for community organizers who want to create effective local support efforts for their region. Support for organizations that responsibly create and distribute sorely needed protective gear and medical equipment to local communities in crisis
OSMS-BC depends on the dedication and hard work of over 400 volunteers to keep our operations running as smoothly as possible. As a non-profit organization, we need the help of those in our community to support the fight against COVID-19. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up here.
