Only 31 years old and fighting for his life!

Hi, our names are Mike and Rita Umansky and we are raising this money for our niece Melissa's husband, Josh Metcalf. On the evening of Tuesday September 20th, Josh came home after playing basketball and was complaining of chest and back pain. Before going to bed, he told Melissa, "in case I don't wake up, I want you to know how much I love you". Soon after, he suffered a massive heart attack that some call the "Widow Maker". Josh died for several minutes, but by some miracle, he was revived and is now fighting for his life!

Already he has endured several procedures including open heart surgery and to make things more complicated, his lungs have been compromised and he is currently on life support.

Yesterday, Josh was flown to Advent Orlando Hospital where their advanced cardiac care unit is best equipped to treat him.

Josh's medical journey is unclear at this time but we are hoping for the very best outcome. Melissa and Josh are self-employed and have minimal health insurance benefits, and will need as much financial support as possible.
