The ability to live in a thriving neighborhood with equal opportunity, no matter the street address, is essential for the success of future generations. So in 2015, the SAP Utilities team, in conjunction with SAP FKOM San Diego, is proud to announce its mission to give back to the current and future residents of San Diego, California.
One San Diego, a non-profit organization that ensures every San Diegan has the opportunity to succeed, has partnered with the SAP Utilities team to beautify a city block within the City Heights neighborhood.
The process will involve revitalizing the neighborhood through various economic opportunities, providing local residents with a cleaner, safer, and more vibrant community with improved infrastructure and educational facilities. The revitalization is expected to greatly enhance the quality of life of the area’s low-income and underrepresented minority residents and community supporters.
Through this beautification process, One San Diego and SAP Utilities aim to capture the history and tell the stories of local residents in City Heights and what this particular city block means to their community...who knows we may even write a whole new story for these residence on how it feels to visit thier new block.
