On Us: Fighting Food Poverty, One Meal at a Time

On Us is a new organization that aims to combat food poverty and ensure that everyone has access to nutritious meals. We understand that rising living costs can make it difficult for some people to afford food, and we want to help alleviate that burden. Our goal is to provide free, hot, home-cooked meals to those in need on a no-questions-asked basis. We believe that by removing the social barriers of accepting help, we can make it easier for people to access the meals they need.

Currently, we distribute over 200 meals every other week, but our goal is to make this a weekly occurrence. We understand that not everyone has the time or ability to cook and distribute meals, which is why we're asking for your support. Every little bit helps, and we're grateful for whatever you can give to help us continue providing these meals to those in need.

We hear heartbreaking stories of local children going days without food, former classmates now homeless on the streets, and families forced to choose between keeping warm or having something to eat. It is our belief that no one should have to face these struggles and we believe that it's our responsibility to take action and help those in need.

We are a non-profit organization and rely on volunteers to prepare and distribute the meals. We are always looking for individuals or groups who are interested in volunteering their time to help make a difference in their community. Whether you can spare a few hours a week or a few hours a month, your help is greatly appreciated.

Together, through volunteering and community support, On Us aims to make a real difference in addressing food insecurity and helping those in need. We believe that by working together, we can create a more equitable and just society for all.
