Olive Sara Mike and Poppy as they battle Leukemia

Hi Everyone,

My name is Amie Carter and I am here to tell you about this incredible family that needs your help.

My dear friend Sarah and her husband Mike have a beautiful 8 year old daughter named Olive. Olive was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in April 2020. I met Sara back in May 2020 when my daughter Paisley was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia as well. Sarah and I have remained close through the years navigating the childhood cancer world and all the anxiety and problems that come with it. Last week this lovely family learned that Olives leukemia has returned. Their world came crashing down again as they have to navigate such a difficult time yet again.

Olive is such a sweet girl with a fiery personality. She and her sister Poppy are their parents biggest joys. Olive became the best big sister when Poppy was born in October 2022. The Wilson family is now navigating childhood cancer for the second time and will be inpatient at Sick Kids for the next 30 days at least.

They need all the love and support they can get right now and any money raised will help them survive while 2 hours from home while living at Sick Kids. Mike will be off work to he with Sarah and Olive during this time, which can cause financial strain. I would love for this to be the furthest thing from their minds while they care for Olive and Poppy. If you can't donate please consider donating blood or plasma as Olive will need several transfusions of blood and platelets over the next few months. The other way you can help is to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Send out all the positive energy that Olive responds well to treatment and give the Wilson family strength to navigate this world again.
