Olive and Jim in Memory of Jubilee

Donation protected
Jubilee was a beautiful soul who was loved by all. She was generous and giving, a talented hair stylist with a love for travel and food, and the spirit of a warrior with a fearless sense of adventure. She will be missed beyond what words can express.

Jim, Jubilee and Olive were a closely knit family who cared immensely for each other, and always held on tightly even during difficult times. Jubilee had to battle a rare type of bone cancer as a teenager (Ewing's Sarcoma) and then again was afflicted with cancer in her early 30s, after which her daughter Olive was born. Jubilee celebrated her 40th birthday last year.

Cancer came back silently and by the time it was diagnosed in mid October of 2018, a large tumor had grown in her heart. She had very few visible symptoms, so the diagnosis was a shock to everyone. She felt good and strong, but it was determined that surgery was urgently needed to remove the tumor. The surgery was done on October 29th, and she passed away on October 31st from complications related to the surgery.

Her sweet 6-year-old daughter Olive and her husband Jim could use financial help to carry them through. It would help them to pay their bills and enable Olive to continue to go to her current school here in the San Francisco Bay Area, where cost of living is sky high.

Jim, Olive, and their whole village of friends and family would be deeply grateful for the support in alleviating financial stress for her family.
