Sarah's Trip to Japan

This time last year I was preparing for a very similiar yet vastly different trip to Japan.  I spent two weeks in Tokyo/Yokohama and fell in love. I fell in love with the people, the food, the way of life and I knew that I had to come back someday. Turns out that day is sooner than I expected. 

On May 18th I will fly out of DFW and begin a two and a half month journey to preach the Gospel in Japan.  I will join up with a Kansas City team for the first two weeks and participate in One Week to Shine (a time of outreach and prayer).  The team will return to the U.S. while I will remain in Japan.

For the next two months I will intern with 7MEDIA and help out at Pearl Vineyard church. I will stay at the home of the lovely Ito family.

My hope is to be a light in Japan.  To call others out of the darkness and into the light that I have found. 
" But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." - 1 Peter 2:9
