On January 1, 2015 our friend Larry woke up with abdominal pain after visiting the Dr. and getting a CT scan they informed him there were anomalies on his CT scan and to head to the ER. They discovered he had water on his stomach, spotting in his abdomen, lymph nodes enlarged, and there was a mass in his stomach. A call to the oncologist was made and and he was admitted to the hospital on January 9th for further testing. They performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy. After many tests one biopsy came back as cancer the oncologist suspected it was peritoneal carcinoma. Then they leaned toward adenocarcinoma. They could not determine the origin of the cancer. Larry went for a second opinion at MD Anderson in Houston. The oncologist at MD Anderson informed Larry that he treats cancer patients that are in the rare 5% with an unknown origin. Larry received his first chemotherapy treatment on February 24th. His treatment is repeat every 14 days. Larry has exhausted all of his financial resources and is facing financial hardship at this time. Lets show our support and help our friend! Prayers & good wishes are also appreciated!Thank you!
