Official Memorial Fund for Raymond “Cutt” Harris

Hi to all near and far who knew Raymond Harris as a dear friend, coworker, classmate, associate, as a personal DJ, or beloved family member.

I will make this short.

It is not easy to ask people to donate and shell out money that you work hard for.

My name is Ulanda and I am Raymond’s daughter. It is with deep sadness that I report that Raymond transitioned to be with God on Saturday February 25, 2023.

Dad had been a patient and utilized kidney dialysis for about 9 years. He told many of us that when he was to pass away, that he would like to be cremated. He asked us not to fuss over his arrangements, he didn’t want to be a bother. Dad was a strong willed and proud man. We loved that about him. My answer to him was just “okay Daddy”.

The current situation is that the amount to cremate him is all that we can collectively gather. On the other hand, every person that I have spoken with wants to have a proper remembrance of his life. People want to have a loving Memorial service for him as well. In order to carry out this duty, we would like your help.

We as Raymond’s family stand together and humbly ask that if you are willing and able to give to this cause, please do. Everyone who wishes to pay their last respects will be able to do so at this Memorial, which shall provide much needed closure for all.

Daddy once asked me, he said Ulanda, what is their last name, the family name and I bet you I can name every one of the members and tell you where they live. He was was such a people person. Daddy loved the human race as a whole. Nobody could do wrong in his eyes. He treated every single person with respect, compassion, love and understanding regardless of color, background or situation.

I don’t know for sure if he’d agree with me asking for assistance in his departure but I do know that he loved to gather, chat and remember why someone was who they were in life and most importantly, why he called them his friend.

Any heart felt amount given is a pure blessing and is very appreciated. Thank you each in advance for considering this passionate cause.
