We Saved Our Home!

I never would have guessed that one knock on the door could turn our lives upside down, but it did. And now I’m here admitting to the world that I can’t fix it and that I need help. I’ll tell you why. 

Two years ago my father passed away and as a result my family made some big changes. My sons and I moved out of our apartment across town and Mom left her home in NH and we rented a cute little house with beautiful gardens together.  Everything was great until a few weeks ago when that knock came.  A man informed us that the home owner defaulted on the mortgage and the bank had foreclosed the week before. We were told we need to move. 

I have worried a lot and slept little for the past three weeks.  I’ve talked to lawyers and realtors and searched for rentals, very few of which fit us and all more $.  I tried to buy it. I asked the bank to give us a lease.  We found a new rental within the the 4 week deadline to get a relocation allowance from the bank but another applicant was chosen. It was so discouraging. Yesterday we found another rental that we’re going to apply for.  If we are approved our move will be outside the bank’s final allowance deadline. No financial assistance is left to hope for and we’ve had very little time to put it together.

I’m ashamed to admit that I can’t fix this, I don’t have a savings and I need help.  I have put off asking and going to GoFundMe until now but I have no choice. I’m only asking for help to pay the multiple deposits landlords ask for here. Thank you for reading all of this. Whether you can help us with the deposits or not, please pray for us.
